FAQ

How do I book a session with you?

You can book a session here.

A 50% session retainer is required to secure your spot. After that, you’ll receive a confirmation email along with session prep details and planning information so we can start getting everything ready. The remaining balance is due no later than one week before your session.

The number of photos you receive is dependent on the package you choose.

Average turnaround time is about two weeks from your session date.

After your session, every image is carefully reviewed and they are narrowed down to the strongest photos from your gallery. Within 72 hours, you’ll receive a proof gallery with lightly retouched images so you can choose your favourites.

Once you’ve selected your images, the final timeline depends on how quickly selections are made and any remaining balance is paid, if applicable. After we receive your choices we complete detailed retouching and deliver your final high resolution images within seven to ten days.

Please keep in mind that turnaround times may be slightly shorter or longer depending on the current volume of sessions in my editing queue.

I primarily work with natural light because I love the soft, timeless look it creates. Most of my sessions take place outdoors or in well lit indoor spaces where natural light does the heavy lifting. That said, I’m always focused on what will look best for your session. If a space or situation calls for supplemental lighting I’m comfortable using it to make sure you’re beautifully photographed.

Expect to relax and enjoy the experience. I truly love what I do and that energy tends to set the tone for the session. My goal is to keep things light, comfortable, and stress free so genuine moments can shine through.

If being photographed feels awkward or unfamiliar, don’t worry at all. I’ll guide you every step of the way and help you look your best. If you’re with your partner, family, or friend then just interact the way you normally would and be yourselves. Some of the best images come from natural reactions and connections.

If the weather isn’t good then your session will be scheduled for the next available date. If your session needs to take place on a specific day we can talk through rental options for a private indoor location. If your session is already scheduled indoors then everything will move forward as planned.

Wear what you feel best in. If you are doing brand photos consider including some of your brand colours in your outfit.

At this time no but I never say never and would love to. Connect with me if you have something in mind!

An online gallery is a private link created just for you. It’s where you can view and download your finished images and order professional prints if you’d like. Once I’m done editing you will get an email link to your gallery. It’s password protected for your privacy and you’re welcome to share it with friends and family.

Alot of people feel this way and most people are wrong. Here are some tips:

Posing
Posing makes a huge difference. I have spent years learning what looks best on real people through experience and education. I’ve picked up plenty of simple tricks over the years that flatter without feeling forced. I’ll guide you the entire time so you never have to wonder what to do.

Lighting
Light matters more than almost anything. I love shooting during the morning or during the fading sun because harsh daylight can be unkind to skin. Soft evening light is more forgiving and much more flattering.

Editing
I edit thoughtfully and realistically. I soften dark shadows under the eyes and on the face and I’m always happy to remove small distractions like blemishes or visible bra straps. If you request specific edits like subtle weight adjustments I can do that too. What I won’t do is change how you actually look. My rule is simple. I edit photos the way I’d want my own edited. Natural, polished and still you.If you notice something after your sneak peeks, let me know right away and I’ll take care of it while finishing the rest of your gallery. If a photo isn’t flattering it doesn’t make the cut. It’s digital, not film and you’ll only see the best ones.
