About

Shana is the photographer behind Stillray, creating polished, warm and grounded photos that reflect people at their best. Guided by a love for natural light, thoughtful colour harmony and a refined attention to detail her work blends art with human connection.

Photography has been part of Shana’s life since her early teens, when she quickly became the go-to photographer among family and friends. In her late teens she purchased her first professional camera and began exploring portrait photography more seriously through being drawn to the process of capturing not only how people look but how they feel in a moment. Over the years she has worked with a range of clients and developed a calm and thoughtful approach that helps people relax naturally in front of the lens.

Her work focuses on portraits, headshots and lifestyle branding photography where she creates images that feel authentic and true to the people and brands they represent. Whether through working with entrepreneurs building their brand, individuals documenting a meaningful season of life, or businesses showcasing their products her goal is always the same: to make the experience seamless, enjoyable and built around connection.

Outside of photography she enjoys going on foodie and road-trip adventures, live music, crafting jewellery and painting. She’s also a Web Developer.
